Hi all! I'm gonna jump straight to the point.

I wanted to visit my boyfriend in Canada, (i'm from turkey) so i applied for visitor visa with a letter from my boyfriend, added my student certification and transcripts to show i am still in school full time and therefore not working. I'm positive I have enough funds to support me during my stay; my biological father is supporting me on this matter that I even included a letter from. As a plus, i am the primary caretaker of my grandmother who relies on my care and also added a letter from her that she depends on me.

Today it got rejected saying "Your current employment situation does not show that you are financially established in your country of residence." But as a full time student how am i supposed to have a job? Is it worth trying again WITHOUT getting a job or will they just repeat the reason of rejection? I'm aware rejection rate is quite high now due to illegal immigration, so I couldn't be sure what to do.

Thanks for all the help!

Get GCMS notes. You are a student with no ties to return to Turkey, funds from a parent and going to visit a boyfriend. IRCC doesn’t think you will leave. Being a caregiver is not a tie to return either.
