I'm in the process of completing my Express Entry profile but I'm nervous about whether I have the right NOC code.
For my work experience, I am submitting details of my most recent job.
I worked in the position for 3.5 years. The job title was Head of International Policy. I worked for an infrastructure company and my job involved representing the company in front of international politicians and civil servants, advising senior managers on the likely impact of policies (such as what a new law would mean for us in terms of jobs/profits etc), drafting policies to present to politicians, writing consultation responses and appearing before parliamentary committees and conferences to give information about the sector.
The company I worked for isn't a government department, but it is closely related and I worked closely with a lot of department civil servants.
I have an idea what I think the code might be, but I wanted to see if anyone else wanted to take a guess...
It doesn't seem to me that there is a direct match.
