Hi,
I am writing to ask for help. I have been previously denied a visa to visit the UK (general category visitor visa). In the statutory questions section I came across two questions (highlighting the wording I find confusing in bold):
In my application, I have answered yes to the second question and no to the first.
I was refused visitor visa to travel to UK on two occasions (dates mentioned) on grounds of unemployment and not meeting minimum requirements of paragraphs 4.2 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors.
Do I have to write yes for both questions or am I right in saying yes only to the second one?
I have to send in a Schedule A IMM5669e form in the next 5 days, so do I say yes to both now and attach a LOE together?
Please let me know urgently. I will appreciate all help.

- Has tallguywithbeard been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country? (required)
- Has tallguywithbeard ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?: (required)
In my application, I have answered yes to the second question and no to the first.
