My wife and I traveled to the Niagara border with her COPR letter and went through the process with an immigration officer.
She told my wife that when she is "ready" to move to Canada she needs to change her address and then the PR card will be sent to us.
We did an address change online but we really aren't aware if that has triggered the process of getting the PR card mailed to us or not... can anyone clarify what steps we could take to ensure this card is in fact on its way?
very confusing process this is, thanks !
please note: the border agent filled out lots of paperwork and kept the COPR with my wives picture on it? she just gave us a simple address change paper form which instructed us that we could do it online if we wished. Just curious is we should fill out a full request for PR card application or not.
