I'm applying inland for PR, and I guess I should have started this 6 months ago when my extension was filed for temp residence.
I'm looking over what I need for the Police Certificate.
I need to file my paperwork by the end of the month, but there is no way I'll be able to get the police certificate by then.
What should i do, will my application get rejected if I don't get this?

my guess is either your application will be sent back to you, or you will receive a letter requesting the document within 45 days or they will return the application. i don't believe it is rejected, just considered incomplete.
if you are a US citizen, what is your reason for applying inland? Based on the information on the family sponsorship thread, it takes twice as long for inland than outland. Basically inland stage one takes the same time as the entire outland process. The only "benefit" to inland is being able to apply for an open work permit. Again, by the time the OWP is received, an outland applicant would have been able to land already. With an inland app, you can not leave the country and can risk having your application considered abandoned if you do. With an outland app, you can go back and forth, and ask for extension so you can be there during the application process. Of course, you would not be able to work until you are given PR status. I believe you can still apply outland even if you are in Canada on a tempory pass.

definitely scroll through the Family sponsorship board and read everything you can. there are some knowledgeable members on there, and a lot of threads specifically for US/Canada immigration.
