So, I am interested in moving to Canada from the US. However, most of the work I have done over the last few years has been of a political nature. I have either been a campaign manager, data manager or in some other type of management position within a campaign. These jobs are also cyclical, as they only run during campaign cycles (so every two years here in the US). Also, most of these jobs are as an independent contractor, not as an employee. With that, I can't find any type of NOC classification that might fit my type of work. Is there something that might be equivalent?
The reason I want to move to Canada is because I want to work in Canadian politics. I have a MA from McGill University specializing in Canadian politics. So, as you can see, it is highly specific to Canada. I just want to make sure I can use it. And yeah, I know, I should have gotten my post-graduate work permit, but I messed up!
