Hi
I am a mature student my student visa has been refused. Please any advice is welcomed as I am going to reapply. I already contacted the school to ask for a deferal.
It was refused based on the following
You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay.
-Family ties in Canada and in country of residence
-current employment situation
-personal assets and financial status
Other Reasons
-Your proposed studies are not consistent with your previous qualifications and occupation.

I am a stay at home mother I stopped my education at high school. This is why I want to go back to school.
Any advice will be welcomed.
Thank You so much.

What is your full profile?

Are you married? Do you have children? Did you apply on your own or did you include your family as well?

What program are you planning on attending in Canada? How long has it been since you were in high school? And how much money did you show for proof of funds? Do you have any paid work experience at all?

Have you traveled in the past to countries requiring visas like the US, UK, Europe?

What evidence did you provide to show proof of ties to your home country?

Hello
Yes I am Married.
I have 4 kids.
I applied on my own.
I am going to do pre-health then going on to Practical Nursing.
I got an acceptance letter for pre-health with a condtional acceptance into pratical nursing.
In 2017 it will be 20years since I left high school. I showed about 30,000 cad plus paid full school fee. I have travelled to Canada as a visitor. I have been to France and other countries. I presently have a visa for Canada.
I gave a document showing I own appartments but I did not give details. I am presently a stay at home mom but I own the company with my husband with the appartments and we do vacation rentals for tourist.
I do want to apply again and address all their concerns.
They indicated about family ties in Canada and home. My father has much older children than I that live in Canada but I do not have any relationship with them. He also has older children in England and Usa. I dont even know them.
Family ties at home I dont know how to address that either.
Thank You so much for your help
I will appreciate it immensly

The education you're looking to take in Canada doesn't make sense in light of your previous education and any work experience. Also, if you didn't show any evidence of work experience in your application - it won't make any sense to CIC why someone who has been a stay at home mother for 20 years suddenly wants to come all the way to Canada to study. They will assume you have immigrant intent.

If you want to become a nurse, I would start by taking a related course in your home country (e.g. do the pre-health course there instead of in Canada). Based on your profile, I think it's going to be very difficult for you to be approved unless you do something like this.

Also, try to get your CAIPS notes as well. This will allow you to get a peek at real reason of refusal which VO had in mind, although your reason for refusal is quite evident. Not a bonafide student.

You can get the CAIPS notes from here http://www.caips.ca/ . It costs you $40 and pay it via paypal. It takes 4-5 weeks to come. Else, you have any relative or friend here in Canada then you can request through them as well, that will cost you only $5.

Here is you do it if you want to have the notes requested via friend or relative in Canada through official source. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

Hello
Thank You so much for your help I do appreciate it. What is Caips note? Can you please explain? What would you advise me to do. I do want to go back to school it is genuine. Where I am I cannot continue my education. I have tried on many occasion. I did try to take a related course none is available where I am. I wanted to do nursing or early childhood education.
I have done all different kinds of job over the time period. Nothing I really wanted to do. I am presently a stay at home mom. I want to have a purposeful direction in life now. My kids are old enough so now I am trying to look about me.

Yes - it's important that your previous work experience and previous education relate to what you're planning on taking in Canada.
