HELP ! VFS global shipping not responding and sending labels even after payment confirmation.

Please can anyone who recently dealt with this service let me know at what point to stop waiting , take initiative and go up there to NY CVAC ? Holidays are fast approaching nearing december end and after receiving passport request recently , it's clearly mentioned IRCC wants passport within 30 days of getting their letter. I emailed VFS shipping and they were responding every other day as per their rule of waiting for their response from 48 upto 72 hrs after every email sent.

But after payment confirmation for their two way shipping service , they have not provided shipping labels even after 80 hours excluding weekends. They have unreasonably restricted any other way for document submission except insisting use of their shipping service due to Covid 19 excuse. What do I do to get the final processing done and have my passport submitted on time for counterfoil issuance?

Any suggestions / advice would be welcome. As their office will be closed certain days for the holidays so it's making this whole process very concerning. Is it possible to just go visit the consulate directly with all documents if deadline too close ?
