I have a few questions regarding the Supervisa application process. I have all the documents I need for my dad to apply from India, except the medical insurance and will be getting that arranged this week. Would appreciate it if those who have gone through the process recently can help me organize my thinking as I'm not sure if i'm understanding the steps correctly.
1. Can I submit the application online on my dad's behalf from outside India?
2. He will have to travel to Mumbai for the medical examination and to submit his biometrics. I'd like to have everything done in one trip if possible, so here's the order I think would work. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
A. Have the upfront medical exam completed and recieve a copy of the IMM 1017B Upfront Medical Report.
B. Book an appointment at VFS to submit biometrics
C. Once Biometrics are completed, submit an application online while at VFS.
Is this correct? Or does he need to submit the application first, wait to be given the go ahead to have the medical exam done, for which he will have to go to Mumbai and use this opportunity to submit biometrics too? What's confusing is that the site says the biometrics must be submitted with the aplication.
I know the process is pretty straighforward but I have managed to terribly confuse myself. Would really appreciate it if you'll could help explain it to me. Thank you!
