HELP! Tourist Visa holder, wants permanent resident

Hi! My husband is a permanent resident in canada. Now, i applied for tourist visa hoping that i can go there immediately and process my papers there as a permanent resident. Now, i have my tourist visa already and really excited to go to canada!


However, question, CIC asks if i want to pursue inland application for my visa (permanent resident). Is this our bets option?? Or do you think we can still pursue an outland application, and still file an extension of stay as tourist visa, for the reason that i have a pending outland application?

Una po sa lahat, kapag outland application ang gnwa niyo back to zero ka. I mean process ulit from square one, wait for approval and then wait for medical tapos wait for visa ulit.

Kung ako ikaw extend ko yang tourist visa mo BUT ipasa mona agad ang spousal sponsorship niyo. AT isabay mo ang application for OPEN WORK PERMIT. Once po kasi na na-approve ang sponsor mo meaning Aproval in Principle pwede na nila agad iprocess yung open work permit apply mo. So pag pinasa mo ng sabay process na nila agad yun. So once na na-approve yan at narecieve mo ang permit, pwede ka na magwork dito while waiting for the PR. and pwede ka magrenew ng magrenew ng OWP hanggang wala pa ang PR. pero usually naman ang open permit is valid for 2 years. So kung walang magiging problema sa apply niyo ay Pr kana bago pa man ma-expire ang permit. Hopefully you get what I am trying to explain. God bless po!
