Help! The family of my gf is moving to canada

My gf family are moving to canada, my gf nan lives there aswell as several members of her family! We are due to be married 30th April, my gf mum has assets and has been told by a third party she has enough points to move there, does this include myself as I will be her son in law by the time we go as I'm worried there's some sort of clause! Or would I have to have my own assets etc? Any help would be greatful as I don't want to lose my gf

If your girlfriend is married by the time her mum immigrates, she is not eligible. For her to be included in her mother's application she has to be an unmarried dependent.

i dont get it. ur gf lives in canada? u as a husband have to be sponsored by ur wife in spouse category, and if ur future wife sponsoring her mom , mom goes under parents category. so it should be 2 different cases..

Andre70, you're going to have to explain the situation much more clearly for anyone here to be able to help you. Start by answering these questions:

• Who are all the people "moving" (or wanting to move) to Canada?
• Who is a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident already?
• Of those who are not, who is already applying for permanent residence (as the principle applicant), and under what category?
• Who is listed as dependents on the application
