Help! Study permit rejected for studying in Quebec

My study permit application to Seoul Embassy was rejected after almost 9 weeks. My CAQ was valid from May 1, 2010 - Feb. 28, 2011. But I am going to receive a new letter of acceptance from the school from September to May and re-apply. Should I apply for new CAQ and then re-apply for study permit? Or can I ask them to use the original CAQ I submitted with my first application? (if this is possible, I'd save C$100, but they may reject again on the basis that the study duration is less than 6 months - from September to February barely 6 months).

Their reason was insufficient ties. Any suggestions as to type of documents to bolster up my application? I have never been to Canada, never stayed in any country illegally. It's just that I dropped out of my college several years ago and worked on and off in various jobs.

Any input will be truly appreciated!

If they denied you for insufficient ties, you need to show them why you would go back to your home country after your studies. It could be family ties, aging parents or grandparents, family business, assets you already have or stand to inherit, your good job opportunities in your home country after your studies are done etc.
