HELP!! Student Visa !!

am applying for masters in Canada and I have been exempted from language test and provided an official letter that English was the main study language.
In case of acceptance and when applying to student visa, will I be asked for an IELTS test?
I have got general results (band 7) in June, can I still apply with it if needed?

IRCC generaly does not care about the school waiving some requirements they have their own rules.

For SDS IELTS academic is required. For normal stream you should check your country requirements, these are usually explained better in paper application instructions for your country.

Generally IELTS is not a hard requirement under normal stream but people have been refused for not including it.

IELTS should be academic for studies.
