My common-law and I are filling out sponsorship documents, I would kindly appreciate your help:
Background:
I am a Canadian citizen
Our daughter is a Canadian citizen
my common-law is being sponsored by me
Questions:
1. Considering that our daughter is a CA citizen, do we need to fill out the following document or are they not applicable:
Additional Dependent (IMM 0008 DEP)
2. on the Supplementary Info under section 2 'Identity and Civil Status Document' it states:
" For any family member who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada, send a photocopy of their:
-citizenship certificate
-PR card
-Record of Landing
-immigrant visa.
I am a CA citizen and have never issued a Citizenship Certificate (never needed it, I have a passport..), plus I'm doing the sponsoring, do i need to issue the certificate??
