Help, running out of time, Dont know which stream to apply.

Hello, Im totally confused, I have been 4 years in Canada, I came to study a Diploma for 18 Months (6 Terms) (Ontario), I graduated, then I got a post-grad WP, I worked part-time & Freelance 1 year, and next year Full-time with only 1 company, currently working here.

I did CELPIP but Im not sure if my results are good to apply.

Listening: 8
Reading: 8
Speaking: 6
Writing: 6

I have been trying to calculate my points through CRS, but I barely get like 250 points, my current visa its about to expire the end of September and I dont know how to get more points, beside Provincial Nomination. The stream that Im thinking to apply its for CEC, my NOC its 5225 Skilled B.

My question is, Should I just apply for PR with the amount of points that I have and wait to see what they say?

What you can do in the short-term is retake IELTS which will get you more points plus try to get a PNP from one of the provinces preferably the one you have resided in because you already have established yourself there and have connections to it, that is the best you can do and if you do get a nomination from Ontario then you will get an ITA.

For the long-term, I would suggest you study a 3-years program and then you will be able to claim 127 points for this program and the diploma, can you afford that ?

But do try to get a nomination, that's really your best shot. I'm not sure, however, if your application for nomination will be processed in time considering the proximity of your PSWP expiry. In this case, I suggest you try to register for a new study program, you will have grounds for a permit and you will earn a degree that will get you 127 points with the diploma that you already have.

Thanks for your reply, but studying back again it is not an option for me I cant afford that, I was thinking in the Provincial Nomination but I might run out of time, I might do CELPIP again I know my score its low and I can do better than that, but is there another Visa to apply for my case or PR it will be my only option to remain in Canada?.

Because I dont have a written job offer, I already work with a company, does that counts as having a job offer?

I know my score is low, and I can do better than that, retaking the test will just boost me up a bit my score.

Worst-case scenario, you go back to Chile, search for a job considering that you already have Canadian experience.

I don't know what else to suggest to help you. I know that some colleges offer affordable education for a few thousands a year, if only you can afford that then you're good. It's the most feasible option other than a nomination which will take longer. I mean, you'll go back to Chile, get a nomination within months and then you submit your profile and get ITA. Realistically-speaking, you could be back in Canada as PR in 9-10 months from now.

Can you clarify whether your full-time job is "employment" (as opposed to a personal services/business contract?)? I only ask because you mention some free-lance work, which as you may know is not eligible.

Better scores = more points, and you have room for improvement.

My Full time job is employment, I'm an a FT employee for a company since 1 year ago, I got a Employment Statement from them stating that I have 1 year working with them, getting a job offer from them I dont think that they will give it to me.

Last year before becoming full time, I did part-time for 3 companies and some freelance worked that I had to state in order to fill my taxes, there is some cheques reflected as Self Employ but not the entire year.
