HELP! RIGHT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEE OF A DEPENDENT CHILD...

Hi! My sponsor (husband) paid $1190 for him as the sponsor, me as the principal applicant and my son as a dependent child before we submitted our application...

Sponsor - $75
Principal applicant- $475
Dependent son - $150
Right of permanent residence fee for me as principal applicant $490
Total = $1190

My husband received a letter asking him to pay another $490 for a residence fee but we already paid for it... so now we are thinking why they asked if we paid already.. any idea?..

Just curious how much did you pay including the dependent child.. since the kids below 22 years old are exempt from paying the residence fee.. My 2 friends in Canada now with the same situation paid the same amount so i'm just curious about it and if anything changes on the fees..

Send a copy of the receipt showing that the RPRF was paid to Mississauga to the office processing the application.

Hi! thanks for the reply... We already fax our receipt to CIC Mississauga and sent a letter with another receipt at CEM together with my PPR... but they didnt replied yet... so kinda worried... did we paid the right amount?..
