I do not know under what immigration program your brother was sponsoring you. You can generally not sponsor adult siblings and especially not if you are not living in Canada.

You can apply under Quebec skilled worker if you intend to settle in Quebec. You should go through their self evaluation to see if you qualify. It helps if you speak French.

Well Leon . My Brother sponsored me under Federal Immigration ( family sponsorship ) . MY parents and me ( when i was under 22 years ). The case is still processing . I mean to say that Along with that family sponsorship case am i eligible to apply under Quebec Immigration Program ? ( A person can apply for Canadian Immigration under two different categories at a time ?)

If immigration finds out that he is not living in Canada, they will refuse the sponsorship. Canadians living overseas can sponsor their spouses and dependent children as long as they show that they plan to move to Canada again when their family member gets PR but in order to sponsor parents and siblings, they must be living in Canada.

In any case, the answer to your question is that it is ok to have more than one application going at the same time. There are no rules against it so go ahead and apply if you want to.

You can apply for Quebec Immigration for two main reasons:
(1) as Leon said you can apply to more than one program given that you are eligible
(2) family sponsor is a 2 steps processing. First, your brother needs to file as sponsor and be approved. Until he's approved and a application is sent for Permanent residence by your parents and youurself, you do not have an application in their system. VO is only dealing with the application he has right now, once he's approved they cannot backup if he travels.
So, you do not have an application yet in the system unless you are in the permanent residence process .... and if so your brother was already approved.

well ae03yy... Actually My sponsorship case is still processing since from 2006 and I have submitted Police Clearance certificates in 2008 . Now our Local Canadian Embassy again asked us to submit Updated Police clearance certificate which i did in Feb 2011. Here are the 2 things.

1)They Approved my brother as a sponsor
2) The process in the final cycle so pretty much sure that they have my credentials in their system ( but i didn,t get any approval of PR yet ( Decision not made) so thats why I m confused .

If your brother was approved as sponsor, they can't back up and deny him again. My idea now, is that you shouldd be okay unless they find an ineliibility in medical/security. The decision will no longer be made regading your brother capacity of successfully sponsoring his parents and you... it will be made on you being able to be permanent residents. In my sense you are close to receive a decision. But to follow you initial question, you can definitely apply to QSW if you qualify while Family case is being process..... thhe decision is yours and you'll have to wait in both cases.
