Go to the nearest Corp of Commissionaires office that does Digital fingerprints. They will submit your prints for criminal records check, should have the results in less than 30 days. (paper prints take 120 days) Someone with your name or similar has a criminal record in Canada, so they want to check to see if it is you or not.

I got the same letter, and I live in California, USA. The paper-based check takes too long, so I am wondering if I can get the digital fingerprints sent to RCMP from USA. Please let me know.

Thanks

You best bet is to ask them or find an agency in California that is Real Time Identification Project certified by the RCMP to submit digital prints.
