Hi everyone.
Here is my short story goes. I initially applied as a foreign worker. On processing of my papers i signed up as a single on my marital status as i am not married yet. But i have a Long time Girlfriend which we are quite living together back home (Philippines) so upon application i am not aware of the meaning of COMMON LAW. Question is there a chance i could change my status for common law since that is the truth and it was just a honest mistake i made upon my application going here to Canada. Oh one more thing i just recently applied again for a renewal of my work permit as still single as i am afraid it will conflict my initially applied on my marital status as single when i first came here to Canada.
Please help/advice. Thank you in advance.
-Philip
