Hello, so I've applied for refugee claim about 2 and a half years ago, and after all of that i got rejected along with my family, but removal order was put on hold due to me almost being done with school. and my dad is opening a franchise soon so i wanted to explore any options for us to stay in Canada legally as we have already built a life here and by the time i graduate we would be living in Canada for 3 years. is there anything or any lawyer i can contact.

1. If the refusal was final, and was not appealed to the Federal Court or if your family is not entitled to a PRRA, then there is almost no hope that you will be allowed to remain.
2. It is sort of pointless for your father to open a franchise if he is going to be removed.
3. It sounds like the CBSA deferred the removal only for you to complete your schooling.
