Help please...need advice on UAE PCC from outside the country!!

Morning....we lived in the UAE for two years but have now returned to the UK and we have been asked to provide 2 police certificates in the next 20 days. The CIC website says we need to give someone power of attorney and have our fingerprints verified in London.....does anyone have any experience of getting a representative to apply on their behalf??! Do we need to do all of this or is it as easy a process as it was the first time we applied while still living there.

I too obtained PCC from UAE in fact also from Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
I lived there in the year 1999 and 2000.
Actually I was preparing in advance all these PCCs so I got before they ask me.
Process of UAE, you have to get the finger prints done and then I found one agent in India who have a branch in UAE, When you sent them the finger prints, they get this issue within a week and then send me by courier. They cost me for UAE PCC (500 US$). I hope this information helps you.
