Help please about Visa and Work permit

Hello people
I have a question here, I am actually on a work permit in Canada buy I pretend to change of job, so I know I have to do a process to change employee and so on but the question is, I have a visa which expires next February 2015 and my new job offer is for 2 years so if I get a new work permit for 2 years but my visa expires how could I leave the Canada and then re-enter if I need to go to my country that is Mexico. How would it be?

thanks mims 2000 for your answer, but one more question, can I apply for re entry visa as you mention it within Canada or in Mexico just in case I had to go there? apling for work permit and visa are separate processes?
