No it wouldn't you may need to extend your study permit as the one you have now may be short for a semester for the new course.

Thank you for replying
I have one more question
Actually now there is no college available right now for september. So, colleges will available in January. so, if I take break in september and after I take admission in another college in january. So, it will not create any problem? and a semester drop will be un official it is not official from college.

If you are not enrolled in a program for more than 90 days your study permit can expire automatically. I would say get enrolled for January as soon as the enrollment opens.

Now I am in seneca college in computer programmer course. I find that course too difficult, if I don't change course then probably I will fail in this course.

I understand that, how about changing the course in September - stay in the same college. And then once you get extension you can switch institutions?

It's good that you are trying. I have noticed one thing that we got so much other stuff going on the side, we somehow try to find the easy ways to get PR. Please keep in mind that if you keep your mind straight the only way to get there is to finish your study. This is the only easiest way I have figured so far in my 7 years in Canada.

It starts from switching colleges then extending permits and trust me it will keep going. Just get done with your studies ASAP that should be your only priority. I came here for Computer programmer course as well at Georgian it is hard no doubt - we got programmers in our family so they got my back - trust me there were only 2 international students including me who were able to finish the program in the required time. But the hard work did pay off. We both got well paid jobs right after college.

Now if you are certain that you wouldn't be able to finish the program go ahead with something which is easy but make sure you do finish it on time - no matter what people keep saying but there is no other short cut to PR simply no other option.

I am sorry I don't want to sound like Gandhi just sharing what I have been seeing a lot. Good luck!

From 1st to 8th semester my percentage is 52. And from 5th to 8th my percentage is 57. As i mentioned that I have 8 backlogs. But my number of re attempts is 16. Will they see this as 16 backlogs??. M so scared about this. And the program which i have been enrolled to is almost 90 percent related to my graduation studies. And my ielts score is 6.5 . I already paid my college fees. GIC everything is done. M only and only scared of my backlogs.
