Hi,

My husband is planning to apply for work permit. He has 5 years of work experience. We were planning to go through overseas job consultancy. Any other suggestions As it is difficult to trust consultancies nowdays!!

You haven't provided very much information so it's a bit difficult to guess what you are asking.

If your husband already has a full time job offer and an approved LMIA, then he can apply for the work permit on his own and there's really no point using a consultant. If your husband doesn't yet have a job offer or approved LMIA, then I would find a job offer and LMIA by applying to employers directly (rather than using a consultant). Too many consultants are scams.

Thanks for the information. He do not have any job offer yet. We tried applying for jobs directly to employers by sending mails but they need someone who is already there in Canada.
