I have finished my visitor visa process and it was accepted.

However, when I received my passport back, the visa doesn't have my name correctly. My given name appears as 'Mary Jan' instead of 'Mary Jane' (not my real name, obviously). All other information is accurate, including my Family name. On all parts of the application process, my name was perfectly spelled, so I don't understand. My real name is very long so there's a chance it might have been truncated, however there's space left for the last letter in the field of the visa sticker (around 5 mm).

I don't know how this will affect my entry to Canada, and my trip is in one month.

I sent a message explaining this through the IRCC web form a week ago and got this message:
You can request for an error to be corrected on one of the following documents:
- Valid temporary resident document,
- Confirmation of permanent residence (IMM 5292 or IMM 5688), or
- Record of landing (IMM 1000).
To do so, you can submit a request to amend your document by mail. We recommend reading the instruction guide first, it will assist you in completing and submitting your application.

In the link provided, they indicate they can ammend the temporary resident document (IMM 1442), but so far I only have the stamped visa, I dont have that document.

I don't know what to do. Any help or advice is very appreciated.
