My husband and I have uploaded pur file in Express entrty system thru an agent in india.



When we asked them for our login id and password they refused to do so.

Could you please let me know

How do i get my CiC login id and password

To check the status of my file on Express entry.



Also, is the company the agent fooling us by not giving the id password to us?

Yes your agent is fooling you.

It is your right to have login details with you.

But he is saying that he had applied from his portal he cant disclose his portals id password to any of his client ?

Most probably, your agent isn't lying. Registered agents have specific logins through which they can create multiple profiles for their clientele. In such cases, they wouldn't be able to share that information with you. But they can certainly share screenshots/prints of your account details as confirmation. Ask them to share those relevant details if they haven't done so already.

If you're concerned about your agent's legitimacy, ask for their ICCRC number as well.

The downside of using an agent is that you cannot control information availability and you'll be at their mercy all the time. Getting their ICCRC number gives you the confidence that you're dealing with a reliable organization not a crook.

I'm sure your agent will inform you about any messages received in MyCIC whenever that happens. You can probably check if they can also add your mail id to your profile so that you receive those messages as well (this is unlikely to happen though).

Im in the same boat as yourselves, hired a consultant to set up my ee profile and submit my app once i received ITA - I don't have access either but don't really see it as a problem
