Dear Seniors,
First, let me thank you all in advance... for you have been of an immense help whenever I was in trouble and took to this board for help.
Today, again I am looking forward to your kind assistance.
Case History: I have been a Canadian PR since Feb 2012 but i have stayed there for two just months. However my wife has been there throughout while i was working back in India all this while.
Now I am moving permanently to Canada in September leaving my mother behind for whom I wish to apply the Super Visa in the coming FEB.
QUESTIONS
1) I have earned around CAD 22000 worth of money in India from Jan-Dec 2012. Can i show it as my WORLD INCOME in my Canadian tax return for 2012.
Though My wife filed my 2012 return on my behalf with zero income which i guess i can edit and resubmit reflecting my world income. She earned $18500 for last year and will be earning $22000 this financial year
2) Is there any supporting document i need to file along with my return carrying world income or just an affidavit declaring my 2012 income would do.
3) In Jan-Aug 13 I will be earning around CAD 16000 worth of money in Indian Rupees. Can i show it as WORLD INCOME in my next return?
4) Now as for Supervisa how many NOAs will be needed from me and my wife. Will the current years returns will be suffice for applying my mother's super visa or visa officer looks for the last 2 or 3 years NOA.
5) Also i am assuming here that My wife can co-sign my mother's super visa application to meet our LICO requirement
6) My mom's visitor visa was the rejected once last month on the grounds of travel history, purpose of visit and not enough financial ties to India. She doesn't own a property here but has much cash and FDs in the bank
PS: While i will be away in Canada, my mother will be all alone in India so you guys can understand my predicament and urgency to get her super visa through in the coming Feb. All the suggestions that make her case stronger are welcome.
I thank you all for you invaluable feedback in advance.
