Help needed, regarding police certificate

Hi guys,

I got my provincial nomination (Alberta) last week, I just did the finger print with local police today, they told me recently RCMP has received a lot of requests, so I might get the criminal records check after 6 weeks.

However, my criminal record check from China was issued March 14, 2014, and i heard it will expire after 3 months, which is coming close.

So my questions here:

Can i submit my application now without the RCMP criminal records check, and send the criminal records check later when i get it? Or will that slow down the process?
Is it true that the criminal record check from China expires in 3 months? If not, I can still wait for RCMP.

CIC considers Police Certificate valid if they receive it within 3 months from its issue date otherwise you will need to get another one.

you can submit your application package without RMCP and then you can send it when you get it or even you can wait for CIC request for RMCP.

as per CIC instructions you will mail your package to CIO NS.

then all your additional documents shall be mailed to CIO NS till they inform you that your file is transfered to your Visa office.

my suggestion, send your application without RMCP, when you get it see when the 3 months will last, and hopefully before that they will request it from you, otherwise you send it to them.
