Hi all,

Please advise on the medical conditions for my spouse as mentioned below:
1. On medication for high blood pressure, but well controlled and no problems
2. On medication for higher cholesterol, under well control and no problems

Should there be any problem if we declare this to the DMP at the time of medical examinations, OR we can just hide it. If we hide this now, would it be going to affect us upon our arrival in Canada?. Please advise.

1- for high BP the dr will ask for more test as urea.creatinin, ecg , chest xr & will be more carefull about the clinical exam
2= if the drugs for high chol. is given upon blood results it is no problem, but if the history showed a more serious medical condition this will depend on that condition .

These are not major illness. In UAE 90% of population have it or will get it due to stressful lifestyle , no exercise, bad eating habits.
