Help Needed Regarding Entry Visa For My Spouse

Hi Everyone.

I have a question, Im a permanent resident in Canada, I would like to get marry with my fiance but i can not go back to my home country and the third country is not giving us visa and its hard to find some one to send us invitation from the 3rd country.

Is there any way to get my fiance a temporary entry visa for Canada to meet me to get married here and then he can leave back,

can somebody please advise.

Why can’t you go back to home country?

As said above unless he has really solid ties to him home country a visa to Canada is unlikely. Your other option is a different 3rd country that doesn’t require a visa.

Because my life is in danger and until im not citizen i can not go back to my home country

His only options (as you said) is to apply for a visitor visa and show strong ties to his home country (job, home, etc.) that can convince the visa officer that he will leave Canada in time. If he can't show that, it is very likely that the visa will be refused.

Well the reality is you may need to find another 3rd country. Your always welcome to apply in Canada but realize it’s a very hard visa to get for this situation.

That's not correct.

As a foreign citizen to get married in India, you can apply as a tourist (without an invitation letter from an Indian resident) + be prepared to stay in India for at least 60 days (30 days residency requirement before applying at the marriage registry to get married + 30 days after the notice of intended marriage is published in case someone has objections) + submit a single status affidavit (or a similar document), etc.

Only one person i.e. either the bride or the groom needs to reside in India for 60 days before the marriage, unlike Nepal (for example) where both persons must fulfill the residency requirement (besides other requirements)

Depending on your nationality, there are many countries that don't require visa at all or you get the visa automatically when you arrive. Search about those.

I did then its hard for my fiance to get that visa, like i can get Schengen visa on arrival.

As an Afghanistan passport holder/Canadian PR, you will be issued a 6-months multiple-entry tourist visa for India (without an invitation letter by stating the purpose of visit as sightseeing, etc)..... but there's a catch.

As an Afghanistan national, you can stay in India for a maximum of 45 days on each visit with a gap of 60 days between two consecutive visits. This means you can leave India after the notice of intended marriage is published.... return to Canada/visit another country for 60 days before re-entering India to get married as per 'The Special Marriage Act' which is legally valid in Canada. Do confirm this with an Indian embassy just to be double sure.

You'll be able to get the marriage certificate pretty quickly which would help you to start the sponsorship process

I have PR and PR travel document.
Because I was a protected person before getting my Pr card.

I was referring to an Indian tourist visa.... not about you visiting Afghanistan

Holding a Canadian PR card and having PR travel document they asked me to bring original invitation letter along with the national ID copy of the person inviting us and their proof of address.

I'm pretty confident that tourists visiting India don't need invitation letters. Not sure if because of your refugee claim, Indian immigration authorities want a local Indian host to be sort of a "guarantor" in your case. But that's is not the way it works.

If you are still keen on marrying in India, you may want to contact the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) directly in New Delhi + a different Indian embassy to reconfirm if you can apply as a tourist without an invitation letter
