Hi

I have got Canadian visa for getting PR. Previously I was on F1 and from this October I will be on H1 and my wife was on F2 and now she is on H1
If I have to go and get my PR, the only way I have is to get stamped in Canada or is there is any other way. Kindly suggest on this.
The reason behind this question is if everything is OK with stamping than I am fine , otherwise it becomes complicated. I remember that Q advised me how to do this without stamping (Qorax advised me that I could X the border, get the 'record of landing' processed thru a Canadian BP and return back on-the-spot). At that time I forgot to mention that my F1 visa stamping is expired now. Please help me I still can do same without stamping

Thanks a lot
Vijay

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
If you have already COPRs for you and spouse, you should cross the US - Canada border to enter a Canadian port of entry to complete your "Landing formalities". Thus you will become a landed immigrant of Canada. After the brief interview at the POE you will be allowed to stay in Canada. You can return to USA any day after "landing" in Canada. Your H1 or F1 does not have any impact on your Canadian PR status unless you be present in Canada for 2 years out of the next five year from landing date.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I am worried whether I will be stopped for my entry in USA as I do not have my new US visa stamped(it is expired).
