Help Needed ( PR visa stamped on old passport and COPR mention old passport No.)

Dear All,

I have a question I have a PR VISA valid till Feb 20th 2017 and my passport was expiring one week later my COPR (IMM5688) contains my old passport number. I issued a new passport for myself to avoid any renewals after being in Canada.

I have not landed yet, but planning to land in first week of Feb. Will the PR Visa that is on my old passport still be valid when attached with my new passport.

I know and have used visit visas on old passport attached with valid passport and travelled without a problem , just the concern is that it is PR visa and COPR has old passport number.

Kindly help with your advise and if any links that you can share.
