Help Needed - Old & New Passport!

Hello,

I submitted my old and new pp for Visa.
I have got my Visa
The Visa sticker is on the new pp, and the Barcode is on the old pp.

1) Is that OK ?
2) I dont understand why CIC need old pp, when it has been cancelled and a new pp has been issued to me. I understand there is some logical explanation behind this, but whats that?

they ask for all passports, cancelled or valid.

This is for security checks, checking the countries you've visited and any annotations that are marked on your old passports.

There are two things,
One is sticker, which has Canada written over top of it,

The other one is barcode, which is used for tracking purpose i suppose. The barcode is pasted at the end of pp, that is on last cover page.
Its just similar like any other barcodes.

kinda green blue color? is it on the outside of passport?

Are you talking about the barcode VFS places before sending for visa process? I do remember one on the last cover page of mine after i handed over to her. Nonetheless, carry both your passports, I don't think it's really any issue. They can always track through that barcode if need be. I feel its only the sticker stamp and the letter which hold value.

yes thats what i figured it must be vfs tracking barcode

White color, with blck lines..
Yes you got it right,..its the vfs tracking code..

vfs tracking code is not important after u have got ur passport back.....however do carry both ur passports and the letter of introduction those r the important documents.

Yes will carry both to be on safer side..
