Hi All,
I applied for my grandmother's visitor visa on her behalf through cic.gc.ca. She just got a PPR and I was looking through her attached letter, asking to submit passport within 30 days, has her maiden surname. Her passport has her husband's surname and everything else I submitted for her in her application had her husband's surname. Even the confirmation of visa submission says her husband's surname, just the passport request letter has her maiden surname. Will this be a problem? Can she do something to get this fixed, when she goes to submit the passport to VFS office? Will her TRV also have her maiden surname? If yes, can that cause her issues at the time of landing as visitor, has her passport would have a different surname? Any help would be appreciated!
Additional Info - She is a widow, never remarried. Always used husband's surname, ever since she got married for the first and only time. Exempted from biometrics as she is over 80 years of age.
Thanks in advance
Myra!
