Help Needed - Got a Request Email from CHC-Islamabad

Urgent Help Needed!

I had done my medical and returned passport on 28th September. Today I got the following email from CHC-Islamabad:

"Dear Sir,

This refers to your application for a Study Permit.In order to continue processing of your application please provide the following information:

Sponsor Name, address and Contact number
Address and contact number of where you will be staying

The above information is required within 05 days of this letter. At that time, your application will be reviewed and concluded on the basis of the information on file.

I had already given my sponsor details in the application. My dad had even sent in an affidavit along with the financial details. What do i tell them now? An why are they even asking for it again?

What do i say is my address in Canada?

And also how exactly do i reply to them. Do I send back in email reply or should I use fax, courier? Gerry's won't be of any help here i think.

first of all, provide some details.


1. where did you file your case? who is your sponsor? where is he currently living at the moment? what's your relationship with him/her?


yes, you will write file number, your name, dob in your email.

then send your explanation back to them via e-mail.

your information will be updated on your file.

They just want to verify details of your sponsor, that's all.

They just to make sure if everything was legitimate on financial front.

Thanks for your reply! I applied to CHC-Islamabad. My sponsor is my father, who I live with in Islamabad. I had attached finances and a letter from him in the original application. I guess I'll send the details to them again.

What do you suggest I should write about my place of stay in Canada? I don't have one of my own yet. I'm going to uOttawa, if I get the visa.

you can provide one of univ's residence addresses located near campus.

please do not provide details of any friends/relatives etc otherwise VO might think u will be immigrating there

that's what i can think of as a layperson...lets wait what other experts have to say....

show proof of ur relation with ur sponsor which can be family registration certificate from nadra. also tell them that u will find some place to live in canada after reaching there as u have no relative or friend living there for initial stay u will live in some temporary residence.

did u submit ur and ur dad's id card with ur application? in my opinion they r basically requiring some documented proof of ur relation with ur sponsor
