Help needed from Senior also input from toby would be very much appreciated

congrats to those who received MR in September and good luck for those waiting.

I submitted my application in September 2013 start, but it was returned due to missing document, then I resubmit and that reached to CIO on 15 October 2013 and received AOR on 26 Nov 2013.

I came to Canada on closed work permit in March 2012 and worked for a company for one year as a full time employee, then stayed here in Canada on EI and now returning back to home country,

I worked in a Company from 19 March 2012 to 20 March 2013, as a full time employee with working hours of 37.5 per week, with NOC A occupation, that's what exactly mentioned in my employer reference letter with further detail of responsibilities;

Now here are two questions;

1- While I was obtaining work permit in 2012, I submitted police certificates for the countries I resided for more than six months, and came here in Canada after that and since then living in Canada. Now in October 2013 when I applied for PR from inside Canada, I haven't submitted same police certificates again, as I thought the previous one submitted will be considered in PR application as I have not gone out of the country.

Am I right or do I have to submit those again??

2- During my work with the Company I went on paternity leave and annual leave, while getting paid as well because I was full time employee,

Now I am in doubt that I have achieved one year experience requirement, or I am wrong??? please give me some insight on this,

Thanks very much

1. Dont worry about the PCC, they will request it again, you will have to get a new set and submit it again.

2. There is a high likely chance that your experience might not be considered as you were on paternity leave, however, how is your experience letter framed, does it say anything about your leave?

Good luck.....

Thanks for the quick reply,

I am already requesting PCC again, and were planning to go for Upfront medical,

But thought about this experience requirement might give some problem,

Really worried about the experience, I had like two weeks paid paternity, so I am not sure, what will gonna happen, so in their system it must have appeared that I had a baby and so they will invetigate about those leaves,

Employer letter doesn't say any thing, about leave.

Just says "xyz was employed as a full time employee from this to this date with 37.5 hours per week" and further detail about my work and all,

Thanks

Dont worry, you might get this through, just keep your fingers crossed. Was the letter dated AFTER 1 year of experience or before that? if it is before, they might not count the whole 1 year.

Yes it was dated after 1 year of experience,

actually I submitted very brief employer letter with application in September, and later in December I sent the updated detailed one, which they acknowledge that.

Thanks very much, appreciate your input...

If nothing is mentioned in your Employment Letter and there are no indications in your pay stubs (deductions for leave) then you should be fine.
