Hello All,

I had been wanting to move to Canada to my fiance but I am stuck in Pakistan because of my fathers ill health. What is the fastest option to immigrate with my family? Because if i ask my fiance to invite me there, she can sponsor me only and not my parents. I can only sponsor the parents if i get the PR and god knows how long that will take and i dont want to leave them behind all alone.

Can anyone make any suggestions? Should i apply for a TRV and then make my fiance apply for my spousal visa? Or should i choose my family and stay back since it will take so long? My father is in dire need of a better health care and my fiance cannot be left alone in Canada....

Kindly help :/

It's your own decision on what you wanna do.
To be honest there is no easy way to sponsor parents right now for them to become PRs.
The parents or grandparents class sponsorship filled up quickly and was closed when in opened back up in the beginning of the year. Even if you
were able to sponsor them at that time your father could not have been admitted to Canada anyway if he is sick. There will be a medical and if his sickness
requires a lot of health resources or medical attention there will be an issue.

If your main reason of getting them here is health care you are honestly out of luck. Sorry.

I don't want to sound mean but my family is still back home and I understand how hard it is and I've been here for 6 years. Just me and my hubby.
But this is sadly the truth.

As far as I know there is no fiancee visa for canada.. Its my understanding that you must be married to apply for spousal visa. Chances are not good getting a travel visa if your fiance lives in canada... Immigration will asume you wont leave the country.... That was my experience
