Hi,
Can anyone give me feedback on below cover letter for my mother. She is homemaker and has enough funds in terms of fixed deposits. Please let me know if I should include letter of explanation for marriage certificate & proof of funds.
Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is ---------, and I hold Indian passport (#------------). I would like to travel to Canada for 20 days from -------- to ----------.
The main purpose of visit is to meet my son and his family in Regina, Saskatchewan. However, I am also looking forward to visiting the places around Regina. During my visit, I will stay at my son’s house at ------------------------.
I am a homemaker and I have sufficient funds for my stay. I can assure you that I have no intention to settle down in Canada since my husband and younger son are dependent on me for household chores. My husband is a farmer, and he is usually free during June & July since the cultivation process for next crop starts in August. He cannot manage his work along with household chores, So I will have to be back before July end.
My elder son also stays at same house with his wife and two kids. He was recently blessed with baby girl, and I have been helping his wife in taking care of newborn baby. Since the house is big and my daughter in law has newborn baby, she will also need some help on day-to-day basis. Hence, I cannot stay out of India for long.
The funds are my life long saving and is in the form of fixed deposits. The funds can be encashed immediately, and I attached banker confirmation letter for same. I also own a property in India which has been evaluated by CA. I will liquidate these deposits based on the visa outcome and use it for my travel.
Please, find the following documents to support my visa application:
I hope this information will sufficiently demonstrate my intentions of travel being a tourist in Canada, as well as my ties to the India (family obligations) and you will kindly issue the necessary Visitor Visa to me. I undertake to make sure that I do not remain in Canada further than the period allowed for my stay.
