Help needed.. 5 years have passed

Friends i have applied for Pr for canada as skilled in december 2005, i receive letter for showing fund and fees in november 2008... i have fulfilled my requirement of landing fees and showing funds on february 2009, my medical is still awaited, can any 1 know how much more time will it take as its almost year now after sending requirement and over 5 years have passed when i have applied.. please mail me at gantavya_rockz@yahooo.com

well i guess we r all in the same boat and cic is taking its own sweet time, i guess all the 2005 applicants should be granted their visa by mid of 2012, so its wise not to get impatient about it
i know it sucks but thts the best we can do just wait

HAVENT RECIEVED MY ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS BACK YET

HI FOLKS
HAD APPLIED UNDER SKILLED CATEGORY IN FEB 2005, AND WAS ASKED FOR THE ORIGINAL WORK EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATES IN NOVEMBER 2008. I HAD SENT ACROSS ALL MY ORIGINAL EXPERIENCE LETTERS IN JANUARY 2009 ALONG WITH OTHER STUFF THAT THEY HAD ASKED FOR.
THEY HAVE NOT RETURNED MY ORIGINALS BACK AND I AM STUCK AS I CANT APPLY FOR NEW JOBS. COULD ANYONE GUIDE ME FOR THIS AND IS THERE ANYONE HERE WHO IS FACING THE SAME PROBLEMS,
I EMAILED THEM MANY TIMES BUT THEY DONT REPLY BACK

I submitted my documents Dec 2004.. Got the acknowledgment on Mar 2005.. Then November 2008, I received a letter asking if I am still interested.

It's been more almost 6 years. I just wish it was faster. I am tempted to apply for work in Canada. I just have been there last May on a tourist visa. Is there anyone here who knows where I can apply for work?
