Can anyone give me a solid number on what amount of funds (please specify USD or CAD) are required to be eligible to extend my visit (non-visa) for another six months? I will be supporting myself, with a U.S.-based work from home job.
And also, is having a lump sum of money sitting in my bank account the ONLY acceptable way to prove I can support myself, rather than just proving I have a solid, weekly income (like with check stubs as proof, or bank statement showing continuous direct deposits from my employer)?
