Hey guys,

So I'm kinda stuck in a loop, im looking to apply for a masters in a cs-related field (my bachelor being in electronics engg). I applied to Memorial, but got rejected..

Then I heard about Concordia University of Edmonton(concordia.ab.ca) from a consultant. It has a MSc in Information Technology, with literally neglible requirements for admission. So im kinda skeptical, can any Albertan give me some review on this university? Thanks.

Also please suggest me a program if you know any.

Degree: B.E in Electronics 79.6%
Work: 6 Months as Technology Consultant
Tons of software projects specially in AI & Computer Vision
IELTS: 8 Band

Please if anybody can help me decide on something, im even looking at pg diploma stuff..

It's best to focus on master's programs. Concordia Edmonton is semi-private and private schools tend not to have great reputations in Canada, but it might be one of the few exceptions. Still, lower admissions standards are obvious cause for skepticism. You would probably be somewhat limited to employers in the Edmonton area.

I wonder if Edmonton employers even value such an institution with presence like UofAlberta in the same city. Still i'm bound by my bachelors anyway. Thing is, i'm absolutely ready to take undergraduate courses to fill my academic deficiencies, but no university seems accomodating enough :(

You'll have to compete with UofAlberta graduates but still better than colleges. Not many intl students go to Edmonton so you will have a lot less competition too
