help me to submit the passport from outside country

Hello,

We have completed our medical for Alberta PNP, they asked me to send the original passort to Delhi emabssy with documents.
Since we are working outside india, is there any problem to send the passport to India ? Anybody know that how long will take to get back the passport ? or should we wait to get request letter for passport ?

Sending Indian passport in or out of the country of your residence by post is not allowed. If you look at the last page of your passport you can read it.But you can authorize some one to carry it on your behalf. The real problem is that if you send the passport to India by courier or through another person and in case (??) it is not received back, then you will really face a problem.
