Hello Seniors,
I need a help.I am going to apply in Next Jan 2013 in FSW category.I want to send my application in first week probably 2 or 3 January.My wife is pregnant and she due a baby on last week of December 2012.do i need to get his passport before sending my application? or should i send application without filling his/her passport name?
pls mention all possible alternatives.

you have to send all the document together. even for your new born baby. (passport and birth certificate)

Please advice properly........at early stage only Birth Certificate is required...........Passport is not required for babies........at int ital stage its optional......

Yes you are right. Initially, you need to send your passport only.

Read the checklist (it is the old one,but the new hasn't been issued) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf specifically No. 8.
