I have question about fee in genral category...!!

I was rejected under SPP category for sept-2013 intake, now m going 2 apply under GENERAL category in different college and program.
So, my question is,
For better chance 2 get VISA should I pay 1 sem fee or a whole year fee!!???

dude i think, paying full year fee would be better because i saw one case in this forum, where one guy got rejection who paid one sem. fee and reason was that , '' you paid one semester fee and i think you will do illegal job in canada to pay your second semester fee'' .. (something like that)

One thing for sure, It doesn't make a difference if you pay one year or one semester fee. CIC wants first semester fee to be paid and rest is up to you.

GIC + 1st semester fees should be sufficient. It all depends on your SOP and the mood of the visa officer.

I applied for visa on 19th august. I got call for medical on 20 September and got my medical done on 4th October 2013.
I am confused what next its now 23rd of October and there is no response at all .
How can i check the status of my visa application ? I applied through Canada visa application center.
The doctor told me that they will forward my application if there are no issues otherwise if there are any issues they will let me know in 2 days.

Kindly let me know is there any way to know that status of my application thanks.
