Hi,

I am expecting to get my stamped passport and the COPR by the end of July and my medicals expire in November and as I understand I have to finish my landing procedure before that.

The thing is that I already working in Europe and its very difficult to quit my job and find a new job by November. So how does the landing procedure actually work? Can I finish the landing procedure and stay at my close family friends' place and then come back to my job? Also, what all documents will be required for the landing procedure. I am planning to goto Vancouver or Toronto.

Ah great! Sounds good.

What does Soft landing include and how is it done? Should I mention it at the border that I am planning to go back? What all do I need to do soft landing?
Don't mention that you are not intending to stay, unless specifically asked. They may decline to submit a PR card application for you until you return to settle permanently. Supply the address of a close friend or family member in Canada who can receive the new card and forward it to you.

But I will have a return ticket. What if they ask me where I am coming from? or if I left my previous job, etc.

I don't want to move between Oct-Dec as the recruitment is almost zero for my industry. :(

Once u finish landing you've become a Permenant resident and u can do whatever u like including returning back on a flight the same day... does not matter...and btw the physical plastic PR card is not a status in itself... meaning even if u don't have it on u and you've done ur landing ur still a PR and no one can deny issuing u one .. renewing it is another thing since by then u would have to have been present 2 out of 5 years

Upon landing have ur passport (obviously) plus the 2 COPRs u received..they will take one and give you one back...also have POF evidence plus the goods accompanying and goods to follow lists...and that's it...good luck !
