Help knowing when 6 month clock starts for Pregnancy Deferral

Dear friends,
I am FSW-O Indian Citizen Resident in US. I have lived just in Indian and US but traveled to Europe 4-5 times for vacation.

My timeline is:
May 30 - AoR with pregnancy deferral
Aug 10 - Wife got XRay done
Aug 14 - MEP
Sep 5 - Called IRCC - Eligibility in Process. Background and Security not started. Didn't ask about R10
Oct 4 - Called IRCC - Eligibility in Process. Background and Security not started. R10 in process. Agent said that she doesn't see anything negative in the Eligibility - just that it is under process.

My main queries are:
1. When does the 6 month clock start for someone like me: May 30 (AoR) or Aug 10-14 (XRay and MEP done).
2. Does IRCC keep processing your eligibility even if you have pregnancy deferral. Or do they put a complete pause on eligibility till MEP.

Would appreciate any insights!
