Read the instruction guide, p. 20
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EG7.pdf

"You may begin to gather your police certificates before submitting your application to the CIO. Although you will not submit the police certificate to the CIO, you must be ready to submit them to a visa office if your application is recommended for further assessment at a Canadian visa office. When you submit the application to the visa office please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you submitted your application to the CIO."

The relevant date is the date your application was received at the CIO. Not the AOR date. Not the date of the full application.

Lilysh,

Police clearance certificates (PCC) are valid till 3 months from the date of issuance. So, if you can manage to submit the same to you local CHC before that, you do not need to reapply for PCC.

Thanks.

P.S: I tried to reply you PM but since you Inbox is full, I am posting here.

Honestly, I think it's great when everyone participates, we all learn, even when we make mistakes.

Correct information is just as important. The above is not correct.

See my post above. Better yet, see the instructions from CIC. PCCs as valid as long as they are no more than 3 months old before your application is received at CIO-Sydney (not the local CHC). So, they can be more than 3 months old when you submit to the local CHC.

Re: About Universety Docs!

Dear Jes_On,
Thanks for your helpful advice. But there is another issue. I am trying to get sealed envelopes from Universety for myself and my spouse . But when I went and asked them about it they told me that they wouldn't give it to me, explaining that The organization that need this iformation should make database inquiry to my Universety. I am confused.
Could you tell me how you did it?
Thanks

1. In the initial application to CIO-NS, we do not send PCC. Refer checklist if you want.
2. PCCs are submitted in second submission to respective CHCs (outside Canada / offshore applications)

Since our second submission is with CHC and not CIC, as per the guidelines, PCC should not be more than 3 months old. So better be safe!

Thanks.

Dear Poison, after all I made a decision to reapply for PCC. Thanks to everybody for leading.
There is saying: I don't like those cold, precise, perfect people, who, in order not to speak wrong, never speak at all, and in order not to do wrong never do anything. ;) ;) ;)
