Help in filling the citizenship application

Hello Everyone,

Before I start, I have to apologize for this long email as a post here in this lovely forum.
I'll be eligible to apply for the citizenship next month (Nov 2010) along with my family members (my wife and 2 kids).

I have few questions regarding filling the application and the supporting documents:

1- Home address and Mailing Address:
I am living in the same address (Toronto) since I landed. However, early next year, I will be done with my studies here in the UofT. So, what address should I put? and if I will put a "mailing address" different from my "home address", can it be in a different city (for example, London, ON)?

2- Leaving Canada after applying and before I get a client or file number:
I don't know where I will go after my graduation. I may or may not be offered a job in Canada. So, should I write a note clarifying that "I may leave the country for work" and attach it to our application?

3- Am I actually obliged to notify CIC with any address change?

4- Should I attach any of these documents with our application?

* birth certificate for me and my wife
* marriage certificate
* Police certificate

1. You can put whatever you want for a mailing address, as long as it's somewhere you can receive mail.

2. No, future plans are not relevant. If you have enough basic residence and physical presence to qualify to submit the application on the day you sign it, that's all that matters.

Note, you already have a client ID number. It's written on your PR card.

3. Yes, you need to notify CIC if your address changes. See here:

4. Only include the documents the application guide and checklist ask for. That does not include any of the things you listed.
