I'm on a work permit (expiring less than 30 days from now). I made an IRCC portal account to try and apply for a visitor's record.
It took me to a page asking me to enter my "personal reference code". When I look at the "I do not have a personal reference code" section, I cannot see the "visitor visa eligibility" option which I have to click on. I am only seeing "Express Entry" and "Interational Experience Canada".
So I do not know what to click on?
Did the option disappear because my status is expiring less than 30 days from now? I read online that you should apply for extension at least 30 days before your current permit expires. But it also says that you can extend your status before your current status expires, so I don't know which one to believe.
Help please!
UPDATE: Seems like I already had an active application in progress and that's why I coudn't see the option. Problem solved. Please ignore this post. I don't know how to delete the post.
