HELP! How to make our first move....

Hello guys, I am registerded Nurse here in the Philippines 24 years old with a 1 year and 6 months of experience in both Hospital and Community setting. I am planning to apply in Canada, but I really dont know where to start, what to do and I dont even have relatives there. I just really want to try my luck. I am also getting married this December and I am convincing my husband to be to apply also in Canada, since he has the potential, He is a Radiologic Technologist in a government hospital for almost 10 years and he handle Xray and CT Scan operation. He is somewhat interested in migrating or working in canada or any other country except middle east. We just really dont know where to start. PLease help us. :'( :-\

Hi rintintin,

First of all, since you are planning to get married this December, make sure to choose who among you couple will be the principal applicant in order for you both to apply in one application only.

Next is to take IELTS General Module. You should get the following results: Listening-7, Reading/Writing/Speaking - 6 (this is the new IELTS score in order to get 16 pts for language points)

Next is to gather the documents, samples of which are:
1. NSO Birth Certificate (each of you)
2. NSO Marriage Certificate
3. Passports
4. 2 government IDs
5. TOR (for both of you) Bachelor and Master if applicable
6. PRC ID
7. Diploma (both of you)
8. PRC Certificate
9. PRC Board rating
10. Employment Contract
11.Certificate of Employment
12. Photo (make you you follow the specs indicated for CIC)
